HOMELESS NO MORE! We Finally Have a Home in Melbourne! 🏠

And guess which apartment we ended up choosing? The very one whose orientation I got wrong in the last episode! The natural light isn't ideal, but after seeing so many places, it was still the best option we could find. Oh well, we'll make do for now... and maybe find one better next year! Hahaha!

Even after signing the lease, we still had to wait over a week before moving in. But at least we could finally put the stress of house hunting behind us and start life in Melbourne!

We hit the gym, wandered through parks, and started shopping for our new home! We fell in love with a gorgeous sofa at a fancy furniture store… until we saw the price tag. 😂 So off to IKEA we went, where we finally picked out our sofa and rug!

And while we were at IKEA, there was one little moment that genuinely touched me. It was that whole section of rainbow-colored products you can see in this episode's thumbnail.

To many people, it might just look like another ordinary corner of a store. But to us, it meant something more. It gave us this quiet feeling of being seen, accepted, and included. That kind of open, everyday support isn't something we've always been used to.

In that moment, I couldn't help thinking how lucky we are to be building a little home together in a place where we can simply be ourselves. 🏳️‍🌈

And of course, with our housing situation finally sorted, we couldn't resist popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate… But let's just say, the champagne wasn't the only thing popping that night! 😈

Finally moving into our empty new home meant that a whole new adventure in Australia was officially —— beginning!
